It was time for me to fix my nails again. Well, I should have done it like 5 weeks ago but I got lazy. This time I wanted to get something really pretty and with a very springy color! The lady who did them was really good.

 

 

This is the result from the drawing I showed you in the previous post. It is actually me. We were supposed to draw ourselves with strong emotions and I decided for dissapointed, distressed and angry. I think I succeeded pretty alright with that. It's going in the art show next weekend in Ephrata's library.

The title for this piece is: "Not So Storybook Ending"

I just got done my Day 2 Exercise! Feels good! I was sitting in school all day thinking about it. I don't know, maybe I actually enjoy this..! Strange, huh? ;)

 

My hostmom might take me to Pizza Hut today for dinner, which I am excited for. I haven't been there at all this year... Their pizzas are amazing!

 

As of right now, I'm gonna start writing on an essay about a movie that we just watched in school. I do enjoy writing a lot, especially in English. I will get extra credit if I hand it in on Friday, so I'm going for that! I also need to write a Spanish essay that is due on Tuesday next week. Good thing for me I have Hispanic friends! 

 

HAVE A GREAT EVENING

I started toady. This is the 30 days butt challenge, but I changed mine to the 30 days body challenge instead.. I'm tired of not feeling comfortable with my body (thanks to all the amazing, but fat foods) so I thought that I would do something about it. You know, put words into actions. So my first day was really easy today, not very much to do. But it will be... The last day - day 30 - has 250 squats... I'm a little scared for those big numbers, but hopefully I've gotten enough muscules to pull it off! I'm excited!! I might add more to the arms later, when track (friidrotten) is over, I don't want to risk anything yet... Haha!

This coming Friday, all the girls from the tennis team is coming over for a movienight and dinner out at Applebee's! I'm soo excited to meet them all again, it's been such a long time since we all hung out together so I'm really looking forward to it. I was looking through some of the pictures from the tennis season and I realized how great that time really was. The girls on the team are so great and it was a great experience to play tennis with them!

 

Yesterday. Oh my. The greatest day so far in my history of track (friidrott). I was super nervous as I wrote before the whole way over to the meet. We got there around 9 and I looked up when it was my turn to compete, which was at 2. So I had basically 4 hours to kill and to be even more nervous on. At 10 I went over to the javelin runway (spjut) with a girl named Crystal because she was throwing that (as number one with a personal record on 125 ft, mine is like at 70 something..hahah) and we hung around until it was her turn to throw. She got places second in that event, which is great!

I'm sitting here by the computer all scared and nervous... This is a big deal.. I can't control myself! haha, I'm soooo excited but still soooo scared!!

Tomorrow is a pretty big day... I never thought that I was gonna be a part of something like this before... Until today, when I saw my name on the list of competers for the invitational. This means that the top athletes in every event are selected to compete in a meet against a lot of schools, not just around here, I heard that last year there were a school from an onther state competing here. Which is kind of scary, but still exciting! So that is what my day starts with tomorrow at 8 o'clock in the morning. I am in third place in discus, that I will be competing in. I did not think that I threw far enough to be able to compete in the meet so I was very surpriced when I saw my name on the list today.

Honestly, I was so sure that I was not gonna compete that I did not even look at first and then some of the girls asked me if I was going. I said that I will probably come and watch and cheer for them, and they asked, why aren't you competing? And I was like: Well I'm not on the list... But then they started to freak out and telling me that I was on it but I didn't believe them of course. So they forced me to go look at the list and there it was, the longest name on the list: Josefine Svensson Franzen! 
Haha it was pretty cool and I got all excited and ran up to Ryan (a friend at the throwing team) and Ricardo (my promdate) to tell them the news and they got excited for me. They both are competing tomorrow as well! 

I'm going to bed now so that I can do my best tomorrow! Good night!

As you might remember, Mr. Huck gave me that medallion I was talking about last month. He was my drawing teacher last semester which I enjoyed very much! He is a really nice, funny, and kind person. His wife had cancer and he struggled a lot with that the whole time as I had him. On Easter this year, she passed away. It is so sad to think about how hard it must be for him to lose his only family. He invited me to go to the service tomorrow (Friday) and I'm going there right after practice I think. This drawing is now my gift to him from me (when it gets finished, of course) instead of just an boring picture. So far, I have spent a lot
of hours on it, even though I'm not very satisfied with how it looks, but hopefully it will get better when it's done!!

We had a meet today at Solanco, a school that is like an hour away. Score wise, for me, didn't go so well... I've had a couple of days where it just has not worked for me... But I have a whole week in front of me now to pracice before the next meet! Still, the girls' team won against the other school! Yay us!

I got my promdress today!! Ahyeah, it's blue and simple, just the way I like it. It makes my little blue eyes pop even more which is good, so as soon as I get shoes, I'm all set! This is sooo exciting, unbelievable almost, haha. I'm gonna dance my butt off, just sayin'!
